How should I store edible flowers?

You should store edible flowers in their own container in your refrigerator. The mouth of the container must be closed. Before using it, leave it in a bowl of cold water for a few minutes.  They become vibrant

How long do edible flowers last?

All edible flowers can last in your refrigerator for up to 10 days, some varieties may last longer. Frankly, it is not right to give an exact time for a fresh green. The better you take care of it, the longer it will last.

Can I put edible flowers in the freezer?

Do not refrigerate edible flowers for reuse, as they become unusable once thawed. However, if you want, you can make decorative ice cubes with your remaining flowers and add color to your drinks with these cubes.

Why should I eat flowers?

Although the concept of edible flowers seems like a modern concept, it is something that has existed in our culture since the Ottoman palaces. Just like rose jam. If a flower is delicious and beautiful and contains so many nutrients that are beneficial to health, why shouldn't we eat it?

Should I wash edible flowers?

At Mimi, we use flowers without washing them to make them last longer.  We pack. Even though they do not contain any pesticides and are packaged in a healthy and hygienic environment, it is useful to wash them gently before consuming them.

How much of edible flowers should I consume?

Edible flowers are not part of a diet on their own. The packages offered to you are generally designed for 2-10 portions of food. As with any food, excessive consumption of edible flowers can lead to health problems. However, no problems were observed regarding its use in the specified portions.

Can pregnant women and children consume edible flowers?

How should I store microgreens?

Microgreens come to you alive in their pots. All you have to do is store them in the refrigerator. Before putting them in the refrigerator, check whether there is enough water at the bottom. The more moist their bottoms are, the longer they will last.

Do microgreens grow larger?

If you expose microgreens to light and ideal temperature, they will grow a little more. But in order to become an adult plant, they must receive nutrients. You can try this, but honestly the whole point of presenting microgreens in a vibrant way is to make them pop.  The main decision you will use is not to grow them, but to keep them fresh.

Are microgreens special seeds or regular seeds?

Microgreens are made entirely from regular seeds. In other words, if these seeds were planted in the ground, they could grow and produce new seeds again. We carefully select the best quality and most natural seeds with the highest germination rates for you. We do not use chemical coatings or pesticide-treated seeds in any of our products.

If I plant microgreens in the ground, will they grow?

Yes, it does, but out of dozens of seeds, only 1-2 of the strongest survive. Because plants need more space to grow.

After cutting microgreens, will new ones grow in their place?

No, it won't. Plants cut without side shoots cannot grow back. The main purpose of serving microgreens live is not to grow them, but to keep them fresh is the main decision you will use.

Should I wash microgreens?

Even though our microgreens do not contain any pesticides and are packaged and sent to you in a hygienic environment, we still recommend that you wash them before consumption.

How do you ship the products?

We ship your orders placed until 12:00 between Monday and Friday on the same day. We process orders placed on weekends and holidays on the next business day.

How many days will my cargo arrive?

Distances up to 300 km to Istanbul can be reached in 1 day, other cities can be reached in 2 days. These periods are for informational purposes only and may change from time to time depending on the seasonal density of the cargo companies.

Can I pay at the door?

Since our products fall into the category of food products that are at risk of spoilage easily, we leave you the responsibility of receiving your orders on time. That's why we can't offer payment at the door option.
